Cupbop started as a food truck in Salt Lake City in 2013 and has grown into a fast-casual Korean BBQ chain built around one idea: rice, noodles, and cabbage in a cup, topped with your protein of choice and a sauce dialed to your own spice level. That build-your-own structure is why the bowl menu below looks so uniform on price. For the official lineup and current locations, see Cupbop’s official site.
A quick heads-up: the supplied pricing data and the supplied nutrition data don’t always agree on calorie counts for the same bowl, which we flag below rather than quietly picking one number. Treat every calorie figure as a close estimate, not a guarantee.
Korean BBQ Bowls
Every bowl below is built on rice, japchae sweet potato noodles, and cabbage slaw, topped with your protein and a sauce at whatever spice level you call out. Pricing is flat across almost the entire lineup at $14.34 — only the lettuce-based Salad Bop costs more.
| Bowl | Protein | Price | Calories |
|---|---|---|---|
| B Bop | Bulgogi beef, marinated and grilled | $14.34 | 694 |
| Piggy Bop | Pork in a gochujang-based marinade | $14.34 | 774 |
| Kko Kko Bop | Grilled chicken thigh, sweet BBQ glaze | $14.34 | 714 |
| Rock Bop | Double-fried chicken, tangy glaze | $14.34 | 968 |
| Ugly Bop | Double-fried chicken, spicier chili-lime sauce | $14.34 | 475 |
| Combo Bop | Any two proteins, split in one bowl | $14.34 | 567–841 |
| Doochi Bop | Fried tofu (vegetarian) | $14.34 | 531 |
| Veggie Bop | Stir-fried vegetables, no meat | $14.34 | 460 |
| Salad Bop | Lettuce & cabbage base instead of rice/noodles | $14.70 | 510 |
These calories come from the pricing-linked source. A separate supplied nutrition table gives different figures for several of these same bowls — see the Full Nutrition Facts section below.
How to Order a Bowl at Cupbop
Ordering moves fast at the counter, so it helps to know your answers before you get to the front of the line.
- Pick a base. The standard mix is rice, japchae noodles, and cabbage slaw. Ask for all-rice, all-noodle, or the lettuce-based Salad Bop if you’d rather skip one of those.
- Pick a protein. Beef (B Bop), pork (Piggy Bop), grilled chicken (Kko Kko Bop), fried chicken (Rock Bop or Ugly Bop), or tofu (Doochi Bop). Combo Bop splits any two for the same $14.34.
- Call out a spice number, 1 through 10. There’s no wrong answer — see the Spice Level Guide below if you want to pick based on sodium or sugar rather than just heat.
- Add extras if you want them. Mandoo, kimchi, or a side are all ordered separately and aren’t bundled into the bowl price unless you order the Make It a Meal combo.
Kids Bop
| Item | Price | Calories |
|---|---|---|
| Kids Bop, any protein, mild sauce | $8.63 | 380–490 |

Korean Wings
The supplied data lists two slightly different versions of a “6 wings + fries” combo — $11.99 at 980 cal as a value-deal listing, and $12.59 at 880 cal as the standalone basket. We’re showing both rather than guessing which is current; confirm the price at the register.

Spice Level Guide
Cupbop’s sauce comes in a 1-to-10 scale. Rather than describe each level in vague terms, here’s what the supplied nutrition data actually shows for calories and sodium at each number — useful if you’re picking a level based on more than just heat tolerance.
| Level | Calories | Fat | Sugar | Sodium |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| #1 | 226 | 12.96g | 27.3g | 243mg |
| #2 | 231 | 14.01g | 26.1g | 255mg |
| #3 | 235 | 15.06g | 24.9g | 266mg |
| #4 | 272 | 19.55g | 23.82g | 303mg |
| #5 | 285 | 21.46g | 22.65g | 320mg |
| #6 | 268 | 21.47g | 18.26g | 352mg |
| #7 | 224 | 16.33g | 18.7g | 445mg |
| #7.5 | 225 | 16.34g | 18.93g | 495mg |
| #8 | 123 | 8.71g | 10.67g | 569mg |
| #9 | 121 | 8.82g | 9.83g | 689mg |
| #10 | 41 | 0.23g | 9.53g | 625mg |
| GF Bulgogi | 221 | 0g | 52.3g | 1538mg |
Calories actually drop sharply from #7.5 up through #10 — the heat comes from concentrated chili rather than added sugar or fat at the top end. Sodium runs the opposite direction, climbing steadily and peaking around #9. The GF Bulgogi sauce stands apart from the numbered scale entirely, with far more sugar and sodium than any single numbered level.

*Mandoo Bop here is a rice-and-noodle bowl topped with mandoo, separate from the plain Mandoo potsticker side listed above. †Krunch Bop and Noodle Bop appear in the supplied nutrition data but not in the current priced bowl lineup above — price not confirmed. Both numbers come from supplied sources; we’re showing both rather than silently picking one.
Three more items are confirmed in the allergen data without full nutrition figures or a current price: Snow Bop, GF Noodle Bop, and Korean Fried Rice. Combo Bop and Mega Bop nutrition depends on which proteins you pick, so no fixed figure applies.

Catering, New Openings & Military Bases
Most Cupbop locations take catering orders, which works well given how easily the bowls split by protein and spice level for a group with mixed preferences. Pricing and availability depend on the location, so the fastest way to book is calling the nearest restaurant directly using the numbers above.
Opening soon: Davis Monthan AFB (Tucson, AZ), Tyler (Tyler, TX), Billings Heights (Billings, MT), Missoula (Missoula, MT), Montgomery (Albuquerque, NM), Cumming (Cumming, GA), and Hickory (Connelly Springs, NC).
Military base locations: Hill AFB (UT), Luke AFB (AZ), Fort Huachuca (AZ), Fort Bliss (TX), Fort Hood/Cavazos (TX), Lackland AFB (TX), JBER (AK), Edwards AFB (CA), Holloman AFB (NM), and Fort Bragg (NC).
Frequently Asked Questions
Is Cupbop gluten free?
Not entirely, but there’s room to build around it. A GF Noodle Bop and a Side of Gluten-Free Noodles are both listed, and the GF Bulgogi sauce drops wheat versus the regular version. Standard sauces and several sides still list wheat or soy, so a fully gluten-free order takes specific swaps.
What time does Cupbop close?
9:00 PM Sunday through Thursday, 10:00 PM Friday and Saturday. It opens at 11:00 AM every day.
What is Cupbop’s spice level scale?
A 1-to-10 numbered sauce scale. Calories and sodium shift noticeably across the range — see the Spice Level Guide above for the actual numbers rather than a vague heat description.
What comes in a standard Cupbop bowl?
Rice, japchae sweet potato noodles, and cabbage slaw, topped with your protein and sauce. Swap that base for lettuce and it becomes a Salad Bop, priced $0.36 higher.
Does Cupbop have vegetarian options?
Yes — Doochi Bop (fried tofu) and Veggie Bop (stir-fried vegetables), both $14.34. Neither is automatically vegan, since some sauces list egg or milk.
How much is Cupbop’s Kids Bop?
$8.63, for ages 12 and under, running 380–490 calories depending on the protein chosen.
Does Cupbop deliver?
At participating locations, through DoorDash, Uber Eats, or Grubhub.
Which Cupbop sauces contain soy?
Most of them — Bulgogi, GF Bulgogi, Lime Mayo, Spicy Mayo, Korean Chili, Snow Sauce, and Rock Sauce all list soy. Fire in the Hole Sauce is the one exception with none of the tracked allergens listed.
